Vacuum Conveyor Control System
All vacuum conveying systems require some
form of control system. This may be designed in many
different configurations.
Control may be fully pneumatic,
fully electrical or a combination of both.
The control
system may incorporate a separate unit with independent
control or be part of a larger control system where
slave units receive signals from the main system.
More often than not, the control system can be integrated into a scale or weighing system to allow for accurate batching and conveying of the product.
Level sensors are often used to aid in the controlling of the vacuum and discharging cycles of the vacuum conveying system. Although IEDCO has standardized on Turck as our sensor provider, we can try to integrate your preferred sensor provider, if necessary.
IEDCO
can design the vacuum conveyor controls to meet your
application specific needs. |
