The IEDCO Sanitary Bulk Bag
Filling System is designed to allow for contained
filling and batching of dry powder materials from
a process to a bulk bag, supersack or FIBC of
various sizes. It is well suited for applications
where hygienics or cGMP requirements exist.
The unit has a custom designed
base that permits the placement of pallets and
the removal of the filled bulk bags using a pallet
jack and does not require the use of a walking
stacker or forklift.

Bulk Bag Filler
The entire base
is mounted on load cells and inflatable air bags.
When the air bags are activated, the platform
is elevated off the floor and the bag is lifted
to allow for accurate weighing.
Upon completion
of the filling process, the platform is lowered,
and the bulk bag removed. The IEDCO System incorporates
the following main features:
Dust collection nozzle for removal
of entrapped air in the product while being loaded
and compacted, ensuring a dust free process.
Adjustable bag hook supports with
optional rotary actuator pneumatic bag loop release
feature.
Pneumatic Inflation Bladder device
and Feeder system.
Bag inflation
system and/or Nitrogen purging
Flat
deck design for easy load and unload by pallet or
fork truck.
Lift/Lower
Platform for weighing with four air-mount isolators.
Pneumatic
vibrators with stainless steel hygiene covers, for
optional compacting for product settling
Contact/Non-Contact
surfaces in 304 or 316 stainless steel with a 20
Ra or #4 high quality surface finish.
White
neoprene skirt around the lower periphery of the
loading deck.
