Industrial Equipment & Design Company, IEDCO, has addressed the ergonomic issues associated with the lifting and handling of drums with their new Sanitary "Lift & Seal" Drum Inverter. the IEDCO Sanitary "Lift & Seal" Drum Inverter will receive, lift, invert and slew a drum in order to dock it to a process for unloading.

Using a column lift with a ball jack screw mechanical lifting system, a drum can be lifted, inverted and docked to an IBC, mix tank or other receiving container, reliably, repeatedly and accurately. All controls are completely programmable using Allen Bradley PLC components.

The electronic design of the Column Lift make the machine more trouble-free and smoother operating than conventional hydraulic or pneumatically powered units. As with all IEDCO products and systems, the Sanitary "Lift & Seal" Drum Inverter is completely customizable to meet any client's specific requirements and needs.
