Industrial Equipment & Design Company, IEDCO, has added a new, multi-tasking, Sanitary Bag & Drum Dump Station to their product line. Normally solely dedicated to bags, IEDCO's innovative Bag & Drum Dump Station allows operators to empty bags or drums to a sifter without the need for a drum lifter.

Its unique design features a cylindrical hopper to eliminate the collectino of powder in corners of a typical square bag dump hopper, as well as the ability for the operator to either empty bags by pouring them through the stainlees steel grate, or use the attached Vacuum Feed Nozzle to empty drums directly into the integral secreening system. Transfer of product from the sifter for processing is accomplished through vacuum conveyance.

As with all of IEDCO's products, the Sanitary Bag & Drum Dump Station can be customized to each client's needs, and can be upgraded with several options including: IEDCO's Semi-Automatic Bag Cutter, different types of bag compactors, wash nozzles and/or multiple types of dust collection systems

A fluidized hopper bottom allows for reliable and complete product discharge. Specialized coatings to prevent damage to the hopper and vacuum lifting equipment are also available per a client's needs.
